The Dream

I had a dream I was stuck behind the TV screen
Trapped inside a horror movie that I once seen
Reliving the same shit every night
Slashing up the same mother fuckers with the same butcher knife
I kill em, stab em, in so many ways
Then I wake up and feel the warmth of the suns rays
I get up, get ready, and go to work feeling alright
But when I go to sleep its the same shit every night
This one mother fucker wanted to be a hero
Hiding in the closet behind a blanket covered pillow
He wants me to think he's asleep in the bed
I stab through the closet doors and get him in the head
Shit, he should have known he wouldn’t have a chance to fight
He died just as quickly as he does every night

Am I loosing my sanity? Cursed from watching too much TV?
Wish I could change the channel inside my head
Sometimes I wish I would wake up dead

This dream keeps coming and it's oh so real
I popped a pill to stop the urge to kill
Somethings gona have to calm me down
Suddenly I’m reminded of the chick I drowned
Naked in the bath tub, she was a little hottie
When I came in she called out
"Is that you Scotty?"
No its not, he's dead out in the hall
Nailed to the ceiling, and missing his jaw
Before she opens her eyes and starts to wonder
Both hands go on her head and push her under
She tries to fight it, but not that hard
I throw her body out the window and she lands cut up in the yard
Waking up again, my hands are shaken
My wife’s down stairs, I can smell her cooking bacon
I sit down to eat, she asks me if I’m alright
I feel just the same, as I do after every night

Tonight was different, that much was clear
A new mother fucker was wandering around here
He looked around for a wile, unaware of what I had in store
And I stalked his ass, right up to the second floor
He stood there waiting at the end of the hall
His back was facing me, and he was staring at the wall
Without turning around he laughed and said
You cant kill me, so just go back to bed
Fall asleep, and have good dreams this night
You don’t have to relive this, you can change it alright?
I don’t believe this shit, this guys talking like he knows
He's pissing me off, And I’m gona stain his clothes

I stick the knife through his spine, and pin him to the wall
I throw him to the ground, and he lands on his face
I really want nothing more, than to wake up from this place

Y'know, since I have a REAL band and all, (don't watch out live performance on Youtube. Our old vocalist sucked so we switched over to me [the guy running around in the background playing mad guitar riffs]. Oh, and our drummer sucked too, so we swapped him out too. Now, we're great!) I could probably use some of these if it's alright with you.

I started singing Sanity's Requiem (I probably already forgot the name. hehe). lol Here's the music I sang it to:

During the drum part at the beginning, I spoke the first stanza (or paragraph or whatever you wanna call it). Then I sang the rest. MAN THAT WAS FUN!!!

And great lyrics! I think it fits the music very well!
