Well remember last night at Skype? Maybe she can start out wearing Water Tribe clothes and when they get to the Earth Kingdom, she sees that green looks better on her?

Lovely drawing.

I'm not exactly please with how the colours turn out. Please follow the shading on my ink drawing carefully. they indicate what should be lighter or darker in respective to colours. the colour of the top of the hanbok is different from the bottom of teh hanbok.

Please also note that the design I have drawn has the hanbok (blouse) worn over a white shirt-like garnment and not a full original hanbok. I would personally like to see design 4 over 1, and 3 over 2.

Thanks. ^^

Yes, those were actually just experimental colors that I threw on to just have some kind of color down. They’re pretty much the colors I used when I colored your old sketch of Yasora. Oops, but I didn’t notice the different coloring of her top and bottom. I’ll make sure to look more carefully next time.

Right... maybe I did make it a little... eh, poofier than your sketches.
But now the issue is that I don’t think we’re using the hanbok for the first season (perhaps for others). Our job is now to give her traditional water tribe clothing.
It looks like it’s back to the drawing board.

Yasora- Water Tribe Garb

Post  VeniceGirl on Sun Jul 26 2009, 13:12

Okay, so Yasora's going to be wearing WATER TRIBE CLOTHING in Episode 1. Let's forget the hanbok for now, guys.
So... anyone up for sketching some possibilities? I probably will too.
Some Water Tribe garments (for inspiration, but remember, they're not traveling in cold weather, so she's not going to be wearing a coat or anything):

Here's drawing I did of Yasora in Water Tribe-type clothes. Ignore the fact her legs are a bit to short and all those other flaws. Very Happy Just pay attention to the outfit. Very Happy

Hey, I like that. BD
I'll try whipping up some colors for everything soon...
Oh, though those bangs that come in front of her ears... that's what Jillian's hair does. I think those strands should come from higher up, like in my other pic... so that their hair styles aren't too similar.
Sorry, I'm being really nitpicky. >_<

Hm... other than the flaws in my drawing? lol

Maybe... take off some fur? Or... I remember I designed the outfit earlier in the 8th grade. The differences were the fact the shoes were basically like black ballet flats, the trimming wasn't fur it was just plain white trimming, and the outfit was sleeveless.

It's the hair. It should be darker; closer to black.

Yasora Concept (done)

Post  HeySoy! on Wed Jul 29 2009, 14:10

Hey there!

My file is big so I put it on photobucket.

I drew this yesterday, and I gave her coat in waterbending fashion -- so until I read the topic of Yasora today... I assumed her wearing a coat and boots -- the whole winter gear.... (Sorry....)

Well now at least we know what she would look like wearing full heavy water clothes in the flash back pic to the south pole for the intro...

I remember I drew a hairstyle similar to that..... weird... O_O

Only instead of those loopies being braided, they were just normal... lol Very Happy

She needs some clothes for the springtime though... and I drew that (pretty poorly... lol. Just pay attention to the outfit design) and Jillian (Venicegirl) colored it.

Yeah, Rafael... I meant the outfit. XD
Okay, and darker hair? Yeah, guess you're right NuWatts.
But I still want the outfit to be messed with a little more.

Well, I actually like the fur. And I don't think sleeveless would fit her personality.
I don't know, maybe nothing's wrong with it. XD
