Re: Yasora Art
The decision is up to you Venice girl! Woot!
Let me explain in my defense for the one I picked in the bottom right-hand corner. For some reason, the colors scheme in her clothing balance out her pale skin. I just noticed that the border of the coat is so dark in the case of the top - right hand corner that it is distracting. It is the same - the opposite in the bottom left hand corner. It makes everything harsh and bold. (Which sometimes, its good.) You tinted the colors which soften the harshness of the bold blue to achieve the balance and yes, the boots should stay the same color. It think it is better to have that combo - medium light, dark on the bottom, or we will distracted by the color of her coat and not paying attention to yasora herself.

Re: Yasora Art
You're right, it is up to me... and blacktiewhitetie. *strikes a leader pose* BD
I think you're right about that... I was trying to make it somewhat like these colors here: http://iroh.org/screencaps/ep56/ep56-23.html
It's a sort of medium blue and a dark trim.
Then I thought I could try something a little less harsh for her... and I think it works.

Re: Yasora Art
Checked the website out, and I see where you were going with the color scheme. Yea, it works with medium brown skin tones, but Yasora is so pale in comparison. I think the dark colors would make her stand out too much. Glad you had the toned down version in your compositions.

Re: Yasora Art
Then I think we'll be going with the bottom right option (unless blacktiewhitetie disapproves).

*Talking with Cowboy Accent*
Well I disapprove.

She's supposed to stand out a little bit, though, as a bit of an "oddity" in the Water Tribe (being from the Earth Kingdom and all). I'm for the top right version in that respect.
Then again, the bottom right looks a little more.... worn? Natural? I'm not sure of the right word, but it looks more like everyday wear. Like it looked like the top right when it was new.

That's probably why I'm drawn to the bottom right hand corner. It looks more natural on her.

Re: Yasora Art
The design that I redid for Episode 1 Yasora... I use a different scanner that actually works now. But it kind of sucks.
Sleeves. Don't like them.

Looks fine to me. And why don't you like the sleeves? Should they be shorter? Longer? Non-existent?

Re: Yasora Art
I don't really know. It could just be the way I drew the arms or shoulders... Just... something looks a bit off to me.
But if no one else has that problem... *shrugs*

Hm... with the tunic being kinda short and having short sleeves with short-ish pants... kinda looks... tight or too small for some reason.... idk. That's probably just me. XD

I like it... It looks great...
Re: Yasora Art
lol XD When I said the too tight or small thing... kinda reminds me of the time where I wore my little sister's long pants (and she's four years younger than me!!)... I thought they were capris. lol XD
Re: Yasora Art
You know, when I think about it, Jillian and Yasora also have pants cut a little lower than the knees. Danielle, if you think it looks too small/tight, what about giving her long pants and maybe a longer tunic? Think that'd work?

Yeah I think that'll work out... ^_^
Jillian and Kienya have short-ish pants and short-ish skirts. Give Yasora longer ones. We need them to be a bit more... different. ^_^

Episode 1 Yasora.
And I agree, danielle... let's try that. ^^

okee-dokey But keep the ballet flats if you can! lol XD
Re: Yasora Art
I came up with some pants for the hanbok Yasora is gonna wear. I'm thinking we keep the short skirt... and add pants. I came up with a design. I think so anyway. lol XD
Re: Yasora Art
Reinforced five stars... nice.
Oh, and the picture's good, too.
Seriously, I like how you combined the skirt and pants; it retains a "girlish" look that I think is very fitting for Yasora.

lol thanks
I was thinking about Song's outfit in the "Cave of Two Lovers" episode. She wore some... kinda "puffy" pants so I decided to try that with the short skirt. XD
Re: Yasora Art
here's another Yasora Water Tribe outfit design... doesn't really look Water Tribe-ish and I wanted to try something different (sorta).
Heads a bit too big here.
