Re: Yasora Art
Maintaining the initial length of the belt, shift it up by one cm or so and adjust the skirt length accordingly too.
Please remember that Yasora is a PRE TEEN or her breasts should not be fully developed. Make them smaller and flatter.
The anatomy loosk a bit funny. I didn't measure it, but it looks like 6-7 heads, the proportion of an adult. (ok, with a friend's GC, It's 6.81 recurring) Yasora's should be about 5-6 heads. Other than that, it should be fine, but do re-draw it according to my suggestions.
I'll let the loopies past because they are a requirement but I love how you incoprated it with the korean bun. Really nice.
I'll increasingly go into these details, and I hope everyone will bear with my pickyness.

Re: Yasora Art
Oh yes, final designs should be with a fur coat. Think Yasora will die without a fur coat in the freezing temperature.
Do a version with the fur coat and without, drawing the front and back if possible. You may omit face details like you already have.

We actually were playing around with braided hair for her earlier... and as long as it doesn't look too much like Song's, then I wouldn't have a problem with that either. But that might be a little difficult as well.
In the meantime, a litte concept sketch I did during work today (let me know what you guys think):
its an excellent drawing, but i think the sleeves are too loose.
I do love the braids loopies =D
she should also have her legs covered all the way for now, until she gets different clothing.
I can't wait to see a final version =D

Alright, I’ll definitely try to keep all this in mind the second time around. ^^
I agree with making her shorter and smaller breasts. Need to work on that.
That hairstyle to the side is pretty much inspired by: http://piandao.org/screencaps/ep18/ep18-31.html
Actually, if your “pickiness” helps the rest of us out in our art, I’m in full support of it. BD
And it has.

Alright, let’s see if I can get these both done during work today...
*plans to going to the base library to print some of the pics off... during lunch break again*

Ah, maybe that’s what others meant with the sleeves. I guess I can try that.
The pants... maybe. We’ll see. BD
And thanks. (:

Hm, what do you think should change about the sleeves? (I'm not too sure about the fur myself...)
Oh, sorry, I saw them on Soran's drawing and... oops. ^^;
But we might just keep the flats and lose the extra lace/stuff.
Aww, and it's great you feel you're improving! Working with other artists kind of forces you get keep doing better... it's a good thing. (:
hm... maybe the tight sleeves inside the loose sleeves should be taken out... and the loose sleeves should be just a little but tighter...
And about blacktiewhitetie's comment on the fact that her... I hate saying/typing this especially when dudes are around (no questions... I just hate it)... *continuing where I left off at* about that comment on the fact that her breasts should be smaller... Yasora is 14 which is teen... and... I'm fourteen... and I'm not exactly flat or flatish ^^;... which is sometimes unusual for Asians... at least my mom said so anyway. XD

*cough cough*
(And I understand that feeling)
It is true, though.
Um... Ty Lee. Enough said.
Of course, it goes the opposite way too.
Still, a more slight figure suits her, I think.
Ah, 9-year-old winter Yasora. Tell me what you guys think:

Yeah... they probably went too far with Ty Lee XD .... idk
And little Yasora is SOOO KAWAII! (Korean: Kyowa... I think I'll pronounce that later at the meeting in case you want me to) XD
Re: Yasora Art
Pish. We can be mature here. It's a ligitamite detail of the character design that should be decided on.danielledear1 wrote:And about blacktiewhitetie's comment on the fact that her... about that comment on the fact that her breasts should be smaller...
And I agree that Yasora should definitely start off less developed. It's been pointed out to me that characters like Toph actually began to "develop" near the end of Season 3. Sure it was subtle, and that's good. However, we'll also be able to do stuff like this and subtle have the characters begin to go through puberty.

Re: Yasora Art

was thinking that yasora's dressing is to be more towards the korean side and should stay that way..
jillian is more inuit riight? with ther fur and stuff...then kienya is more of (i dunno) the airbenders side (monks/nuns)... [erm, i'm talking about dressing here...xD]

Pft. I wasn’t worried about you. *hand flip*
Just about less mature members... maybe.
Then again, we probably shouldn’t worry about it. The Art group needs to cover all these areas...
That sounds good to me. I can see her developing later in the Seasons (Though I’d also like to point out that Toph was 12 in the show).
Still, yeah. Agreed.
Oh.Snap.

Hm, I think we’ll be headed more towards a hanbok style once she starts wearing Earth Kingdom clothes, but Kiffer wanted her in Water Tribe clothing for at least the first episode, seeing as she’s lived there for most of her life... enough time to make her identify culturally with the Water Tribe.
Re: Yasora Art
I like the skin tone and hair color, but the color on the outfit looks a little odd to me... especially the boots. Perhaps they should be brown?
Re: Yasora Art
omg, Earth Kingdom green for the eyes... now THAT is a keeper.

I'm glad you brought up the boots. They looked a bit strange to me as well.
I'm going to come up with more color combinations...

I thought they would suit her.

Re: Yasora Art
If I was allowed to speak, I'd say "I WUB IT!!!!!!!! I think all the colors are perfect. I think since this is the future, the Water Tribe Colors should be a little different, so if we had to choose one, I'd say the Ice Blue she's wearing."

Here we go. The one in the upper left is the first one I did.
I can always come up with more.

Re: Yasora Art
I outlined in reeeddddd....my choice that I think clicks.
When you presented Yasora, she looked flat. There was no contrast in her clothes because she was so pale. I think it does make sense to have a darker contrast to make her stand out.

Nope... Still liking the first.
Re: Yasora Art
Out of the two with the most votes... I like the bottom right more as well.
So... 3 vs 3 votes... the 1st option looks like it's been outnumbered. XD (though I kind of liked it too)
I want to get this decided by tonight or early tomorrow. The sooner the better.
